Sample Content
A typical example of type of content available in our website can be understood by attempting to solve this problem.
Let us take the topic of Matrices and Determinants (Linear Algebra) dealt in both class XI and Class XII CBSE Math.
Let A be a 3×3 matrix,
A = \begin{pmatrix} 1 & 2 & 3 \\ -3 & 4 & 5 \\ 2 & 3 & -6 \end{pmatrix}Find the relationship between x and y if
Do you feel the above equation is consistent? If consistent give relationship between x and y. If not, why it is not consistent substantiate your answer. The above type of questions will be posed in the notes given so that you will understand the real concept behind the matrix operations rather just calculating A^{-1} , A^2 and substituting the values in the given equation. After substituting these values in the main governing equation the behavior has to be assessed before coming to conclusion. This question is with in the boundary of syllabus of Class XII CBSE Maths of finding the inverse of a matrix and the square of a matrix. But we go little ahead to find the behavior of the equation also to give further insights on the subject topic.
In the section on notes of JEE Maths we go beyond the syllabus of the CBSE Maths and try to provide the better and quicker methods to find the inverse of a 3×3 matrix. In traditional way of finding inverse of a matrix, time taken will be high. For the above same problem we introduce the topics of Calley-Hamilton Theorem, Characteristic equations, Eigen values and Trace of a matrix.
With the help of above topics you can appreciate the ease with which JEE level problems can be solved. In overall sense we try to use the foundation for CBSE Maths topics and prepare you for handling the JEE level examinations with confidence.
The above is only a sample to path way fro better understanding of CBSE Maths.
